Tower Pub is a rooftop bar close enough to walk to in ten minutes, with the Galata Tower on one side and the whole old-city skyline across the water on the other.
It is a pub, not a cocktail bar — draught beer, uncomplicated food, football on when there is a match. What people come for is the terrace, especially in the hour before sunset when the light moves across the domes opposite and the ferries start their crossings below.
Open from midday until late. Weekdays you can walk in; Friday and Saturday the terrace is full after nine.
Being this close, it works as a first drink before dinner in Beyoğlu rather than the whole evening.
